John 3:2"For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."
We are made up of three parts, body, soul and spirit. We must have bread or food to sustain us. As a society we no longer eat to live; we live to eat. Therefore the bread becomes an addiction and destructive to our bodies.
Our spirit being must also have bread to thrive and remain vibrant. This bread is even more important than physical food, because it is eternal, and in eating this bread you truly find life for your soul and spirit. Unlike physical food, you will never suffer from obesity. The more you partake of what comes from heaven the more quality of life you gain not only temporarily, but eternally.
May I encourage you to begin to feed your spirit as often as you feed your flesh? Most of our health issues would go away. Our emotions would no longer dictate our poor decisions. Our thought life would become healthy and wholesome. Most importantly our need to love and be loved, and to know we are valued would be met by a perfect love. This love only comes from heaven which is our eternal home if we choose the Bread of Life, Jesus. We must partake of Him daily and His Words. Pray for a greater hunger for the eternal rather than temporal. You have nothing to lose of any value, but everything to gain that is worthy for true life.
In His love.
