Numbers 14:24
“But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.”
Reading about Caleb this morning made me ponder what are my daily actions leaving my descendants to inherit. It is a sobering thought. Perhaps even more so is when the Holy Spirit is seeing my heart is it wholly His, or is it divided. I want to be defined as one of the few who is serving God with all my heart simply out of love for who He is. Then I can rest in what my descendants will inherit from my life of daily choices. Let us consider the eternal consequences of our daily choices.
