1 Corinthians 11:1
"Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ."

I am challenged by Paul’s bold, confident instruction to the Corinthian church:

"Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ."

Obviously he had a consistent lifestyle of following after Jesus. His walk was not compartmentalized, but Christ remained first place in all things at all times. This should be the normal life of all believers, not the exception. Paul never sought the approval or favor of man more than the favor or approval of God from the time of his conversion to the end of his life. (Read Galatians 1)

Paul declares to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:7:

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith."

May we like Paul remain obedient and exemplify Christ in such a way we too may proclaim,
" Be imitators of me as I am of Christ."
Most of all, let us pass on to others what we have freely received from Christ Himself as He intended for us all!
In His love.

Recuperating with my children and grandchildren has been such a blessing! Upon seeing these two large hands at a pool we were enjoying on a hot afternoon, I immediately thought of comforting verses in John 10:27-29:

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me, is greater than all’ and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand."

My youngest granddaughter, Sarah Grace and I shared the moment. 🙂
