Colossians 3:12-13
"So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you forgive."

Forgiveness and being a follower of Christ is synonymous. We begin by confessing our sins, and believing we are forgiven totally by a perfect God who gave a perfect sacrifice; we become His, beloved and chosen. That is the easy part.
The hard part is when we are commanded to forgive others as He has forgiven us! The same blood that cleanses me daily, also cleanses those who deserve it no more than I do. God the Father paid the ultimate price for ALL of us. There is no sin that the price of Jesus cannot cover. None of us are left wanting at the cross. His perfect holy blood is always more than enough. Let us allow God to help us put on His heart for one another, and extend the same grace and mercy we experience daily from Him. By this the world will know we are His disciples.
In His love.
