Mark 7:6-8
And He said to them, "Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: The people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrine the precepts of men. Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the traditions of men."
Our relationship with God is of the heart. He sees deep inside of us. We cannot live for the approval of man and God. We must choose daily. No one loves as our God. Man is the creation of God. How futile to live for the approval of the creation rather than the Creator, Who knows all. Let Him have first place in your heart today. Place your heart in His. He alone is worthy.
