Romans 14:7-8
"For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die we are the Lord’s.

It is so easy to get things confused and reversed as believers in Christ. It appears most of us believe Christ lives for us. He is to serve and meet our every need. He lives for us, and He died for us. Even thought this is true, if we are truly followers of Him we can no longer be the center of our lives. He is. We lose our lives for His, our wants and our desires. In doing so, we gain a life of peace and joy only true followers of Christ understand. Don’t live out a selfish, small, life in His name. Allow His example to take you far bigger than a life lived for self stamping His name on it. It can only be accomplished through total surrender and obedience. It will be worth it all when we see Him face to face.
In His love.
