2 Peter 1:2
“Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

Grace and peace becomes ours in the knowledge of God’s love through Jesus. When we can claim Him as our Lord and not just a Savior we will have peace in abundance. We will understand we are at peace with the God of infinite love for us through His own Son. It is not based on our performance or works, It cannot be taken away from us from failures, if we repent and go and sin no more. It is a heart issue. True repentance is a broken and contrite heart that truly is grieved for failing God, not because you might lose your salvation, but because we have failed the One who loves us. We purpose in our heart to go and sin no more as Jesus told the woman caught in adultery. It is not that we will never sin again, but that with all our heart we try not to out of love for God. Our sins can always be forgiven because of the cross Jesus chose to bore for the Father and for us. Seek to love Him with your all as He loves you. Let that be your motive in all you do.
In His love.

The skiff of snow that came with the cold temperatures yesterday morning was quite lovely driving down Lambsburg Mountain heading to Statesville for a WaterArt Conference.
