And the disciples were astonished at His Words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for them who trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!"
Most people who are wealthy tend to feel self sufficient, and rely on their wealth. Unless you have biblical understanding of money it is the natural thing to do. It is not a bad thing to be wealthy; it is when we trust in our wealth. It is a false sense of security. As history has proven over and over, it can be gone in a day. True security can only come from a deep, intimate, relationship with the Father.He blesses us in order for us to bless others. For us to fulfill His will we must Trust in Him and not in what we have. Place your trust where it belongs today.
