Numbers 14:8,14
" Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt with fear; but I followed the Lord fully.
Therefore, Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite until this day, because he followed the Lord God of Israel fully."

I love the story of Caleb. Caleb was courageous and believed God when everyone else looked at the circumstances, and their hearts melted with fear. But more importantly Caleb finished his life strong, because He believed what God had spoken, and He served the Lord His God fully. How desperately we need men and women with the attributes of Caleb today. May it become our prayer for this new year.
In His love.

Photo taken at a park in Dublin, Ireland. I rented a bike, and rode across Dublin, risking my life I might add, to get this picture of the fascinating species of deer for my son. Dublin is like New York City with everyone driving on the wrong side of the road. No one slows down for bikes. The journey was worth the destination.
