2 Timothy 4:7-8
" I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing."
Let us be sobered and encouraged today by Paul’s proclamation. If we are fighting the good fight, finishing the course God has for each of us, and keeping and protecting our faith, we know our inheritance is the same as Paul’s. And yes, we love His appearing; our hearts long for it. Let this be our aim each day we have left upon this earth.
