Isaiah 65:2
“I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts.”
As a mother I have known the agony of watching adult children walking in ways that were not good following their own thoughts, and rebelling against what they were taught. God has given us a freedom to choose or reject Him. As parents we have to do the same. God so often uses what I experience with my children to reveal to me what He feels as our Father. He reaches for us all day long longing to guide and show us the good way. Because our thoughts are more our own than His, because we reject Him and will not allow Him to give us His thoughts, He grieves for us. He knows the price He paid to restore us to Himself, and yet we reject Him. Turn to the Father’s hands that are spread out to you while there is still time. Let Him give you His thoughts. They are so much higher than your own. Only He is Truth.
