Ezekiel 22:30
"I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall, and stand in the gap before Me for the land so that I would not destroy it, but I found no one."
Look at the heart of God as we read this verse. His people are in rebellion and profaning all that is good. Yet we see a merciful God desiring to be merciful rather than give His people the judgement they deserve. God does not change. His mercy endures forever. May we lift our own hearts to Him, and become the one to stand in the gap for our nation at such a time as this. Let it not be said, " I found no one!"
