Isaiah 49:14-16
But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me."
Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will never forget you. Behold I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.
It is very hurtful to be forgotten. It is especially hurtful to be forgotten by those you love most. God lets us know in these wonderful verses it happens. Unfortunately many of us know this first hand. Know this from your Father this morning, "HE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!" We will always be His. He never turns us away. We are inscribed on the palms of His nail scarred hands. Unlike man, God keeps His covenants. Let your thirsting soul drink in a love that is beautiful beyond description.
