Psalm 16:11
"You will make known to me the path of life; in your Presence is fullness of joy, in your right hand there are pleasures forever.
After my father’s death we eventually had to sell the home place. It was just a small farm, but to me and my father it was the Ponderosa. My mother kept it as long as she could, but inevitably we settled her in a nicer home with a lot less responsibility. I leaned instantly home was wherever my mama was.
When I came to know and love my Heavenly Father, I realized home for me is in his Presence.That is where I gain the guidance I so desperately need to stay on the paths of life, rather than succumbing to the delusions of the father of lies. I experience great peace and security knowing I will always find truth in His Presence. As the Psalmist declares: There is fullness of joy in his Presence. Because no matter the circumstances in my life, if I can become more aware of his Presence, it supersedes the hurts and pain of this world. From his Presence I receive an unshakable joy that can only come from the one true God who bathes me in His perfect love and dries my tears through His Word.
These pleasures are everlasting unlike what the world has to offer; they are forever! Know He is omnipresent! You need only to get alone with His Word and acknowledge His Presence to experience His promises.

I find great comfort in knowing God’s Presence is always wrapped around my aging Mother when I cannot be. She enjoys the daffodils ushering in spring which is a sweet reminder for her of His continued faithfulness and love.
