Here we see King David’s last words to his son, Solomon. What great instruction for Solomon. The greatest gift we can impart to our children is our faith in our God.
Even though we have stressed when we die we can’t take anything with us, it is not true.for followers of Jesus Christ. His sacrifices enables us to take our children and grandchildren with us if they are willing. Everyone must choose for themselves. Our responsibility is to share our relationship with our God with them.There aren’t any perfect parents or perfect children, but we can all share a perfect God and the perfect love we have an invitation to bask in continuously.
Let us press on to know our God, to serve Him with a willing mind, and a whole heart. It secures our lives eternally with only temporary separation at death. To choose otherwise renders eternal rejection and separation forever. Let us ponder the most important decision we all are faced with in life. God so loved us He gave us His all, so we would have this choice. Make the right choices for you and yours today. Make sure your family is eternally secure as we share the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
