Mark 9:7
Then a cloud formed overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is My beloved Son, listen to Him!"
When Peter experienced the mount of transfiguration his immediate response was to build something. God, Himself interrupted Peter and told him who Jesus was, and to listen to Him. This is the heart cry of God today as well. God doesn’t want our ideas. He already has the plan. He wants us to listen and obey His plan. May we be delivered from dead works, and live a life of obedience to His Beloved Son through the Holy Spirit. Jesus is to be the head of His church.
