Romans 15:4-5
For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus.
God grants through instruction from the scripture perseverance and encouragement. Living life requires both on a daily basis. We must persevere to follow Christ, to earn a living, to complete a marathon, to finish college, and to rear children to name a few instances. If we allow God to grant us perseverance and encouragement through His Word, the end result is with one accord and one voice we glorify God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans15:6)
