‘My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord or loathe His reproof. For whom the Lord loves, He reproves even as a father corrects the son in whom He delights.”

Discipline is a form of love. Children who are disciplined are secure in the love of their parents, and more at peace with themselves and others around them.A An overindulged child becomes self centered and thinks only of themselves. When parents aren’t willing to take the time to train and teach their children the ways of God, they set their children up for failure and a lot of heart break. If you have brought children in this world you have a tremendous responsibility no one else can do for you. It is such a privilege to be a parent and a lot of hard work. But oh the reward of seeing your children following the ways of God! No sacrifice is to great to make when you receive that reward. There is no agony greater than when we have regrets as parents and see our children totally self consumed. Follow His Word and His ways. Adult children must make their own choices, but as a parent you can live with fewer regrets. Always remember the grace of God and His love and mercy for all of us.
In His love.
