Psalm 90:14
"O satisfy us in the morning with Your loving kindness, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days."

When I came to know my Savior in a deep, personal way, I began the habit of being satisfied in the morning with His loving kindness. Beginning your day and allowing Him first place in your life will definitely alter the course of your life. Does this mean a life of guaranteed smooth sailing daily? Hardly! My life has been anything but that. What it does mean is I have never faced the storms of life alone. When I have hit the storms of life, and this ship has been tossed about with fear, I have had a Captain who would speak to me and bring supernatural peace and strength to enable me to find my way out of the storms. When battered and bruised internally and externally He has healed my wounds and broken heart. I have come to know whatever I encounter He will make me victorious, because I always triumph through Christ as promised in His Word. (2 Corinthians 214)
Acquiring perfect circumstances in life is not how we triumph. If we believe that we end up helplessly tossed to and fro with no peace in sight. I triumph because my anchor of hope and all my trust is in the unfailing love of my Savior.

The one thing I cannot start my day without is an intimate moment with my God in order to be filled with His loving kindness. That decision defines my day, and enables me to manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place I go! May I challenge you to allow Him first place every morning that we might sing for joy as Moses expressed in this Psalm? It is possible to sing for joy and be glad all our days if we keep Him magnified more that the circumstances of life!
In His love.
