“So that you through His poverty might become rich…”

2 Corinthians 8:9
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.”

I pray you grasp, along with myself, the grace and love of Jesus today for our sakes. Though He was not only rich, but the Son of God became man that we might become rich through His poverty, and have eternal life through His death! What greater love can be shone to you or me?   There is no source of love like His. May we be motivated by His love shone to us to love Him first and foremost in our lives. He is more than worthy.
