John 6:63
"It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing; the words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

How I long to meet with believers who understand what Jesus said to his disciples in this verse. Our flesh profits nothing; it is the Spirit who gives life. Many of His followers left Him after He gave a teaching with the combination of spiritual thoughts and spiritual words, not taught by human wisdom, but taught by the Spirit. Please refer to 1 Corinthians 2:12-16. Jesus’s words always gives eternal life. We are helpless to produce this kind of life without the Holy Spirit. How I long to assemble with other believers who apply this truth. Yet, I know myself as well as others must first live this out as individuals before we can make this a reality corporately.

God help us to hunger for the Words of Life and Spirit, and to understand there is only one Source.Nothing profitable of any lasting value comes from works of the flesh. It must be obedience initiated by the Holy Spirit. To obey is better than sacrifice. Let us begin today!
