Micah 7:7-8
"But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy; though I fall, I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me."
How these words of Micah express my heart today. Life throws us many challenges, physical, emotional, and spiritual. We all get knocked down at times, but I know to immediately look to the God of my salvation. I wait expectantly knowing I am never alone in my struggles. I know He hears me as I cry out to Him when I am injured from life. Though I fall I will rise again in His strength and healing, and though we dwell in darkness, He is light for all of us who chooses to take refuge in Him. Know this morning He is the source for all you need.

I was elated yesterday as I experienced healing from the God of my salvation from knee injuries that stopped my training briefly. I am a trophy of mercy and grace God mercifully continues to put back together. I ran Stone Mountain, steps and all, with little pain. I started this run expectantly looking to the One who is the source for all I am. I was humbled and overcame by His love and grace so undeserved. know He doesn’t have favorites. He is available to all who call out His name!
