"For the vision is yet for the appointed time,it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; but it will certainly come; it will not delay. Behold, as for the proud one his soul is not right within him, but the righteous will live by his faith."
Habakkuk 2:3-4

Habakkuk loved God, and trusted God, but He was perplexed by lingering circumstances. It appeared God wasn’t listening to his cries. He was discouraged and confused, because He knew God intimately, He knew God did not look on wickedness with favor, but He wasn’t stopping it. Verses three and four are God’s responses to His child.

What had God spoken to your heart through His Word, and yet it tarries as we begin another year? Read His Words slowly to Habakkuk. What He as spoken to you has an appointed time He has decided. He is perfect in all His ways! The promise hastens toward the goal; it will not fail. Be patient; wait for it. It will certainly be fulfilled. We must remain humbly submitted to the promises of God resting in His unfailing love for us. The righteous must cling to their faith, because His name is Faithful and True. (Revelation 19:11)

There is a hope and a future for those who cling to their faith and the promises of God in 2018 and always. Though this world and our lives are constantly changing, God’s love is steadfast. His truths set us free from chains we cannot see. Allow His truths to be your anchor of hope, and expectantly watch and wait for His appointed time of fulfillment.
In His love.

Even the most barren seasons of life has it’s beauty enveloped in the right exposure of light. Allow the Light of the World to envelop you in whatever season your are presently in to see His beauty as you wait.
