John 14:3
"If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I Am, there you may be also."
Drink in the promises of Jesus in this verse. It is our glorious future and hope. He has prepared a dwelling place for us to go home where we belong. He is coming for us, and He Himself shall receive us, that where He is, we shall be also.
That is all I desire, that where He is, I will also be forever. I know I shall be, because He that is Truth promised.
In His love.

For now this is home. It is my refuge where His Presence and beauty He has created surrounds me continuously, morning and evening.
About 1977 I attended a Free Methodist Sunday school class “taught” by a Baptist. PPretending to John 14:3, he “read”, “…..that where you are, there I may be also”.
Both my hands went up. “Can you tell us, please, which translation you are reading?”
He turned the Bible over and read the name of the translation.
“Will you read that passage again please, carefully this time? ”
He “read” it the same way.
Privately, later, I asked him why he would quote Jesus as saying the opposite of what he actually said.
The “teacher” saith it was “in order to make it easier to understand”.
Millions have been taught that the purpose of Jesus’ second advent is so he can be with us where we are.
I appreciate your willingness to publish Jesus’ words without rearranging them. Do you know whether anyone makes a bumper sticker with at least the last nine words of that sentence? “…that where I am, there ye may be also.”
