Psalm 102:25-27
Of old You founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. Even they will perish, but You endure, and all of them will wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not come to an end.
Sensing a change of seasons in the air reminds me how life is always changing. Our lives are a sequence of seasons. Nothing stays the same. The young become old, children grow up and leave home, and relationships come and go.
As always the Words of God are a great comfort to me this morning. God is the same always, and He will not come to an end. His love will not change. His character will not change. His Words will always remain true. Let your heart take comfort and rest assured He is trustworthy, and great is His faithfulness.
We know all in this world is temporary and uncertain. Only on thing remains, God and His Word. We will see Him face to face as He returns to take His children home to a safe place of no sadness or pain, no shifting shadows or changing within. We will dwell in perfected love throughout eternity. Hope to see you there!
