Revelation 2:4-5
"But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first, or else I Am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand out of its place–unless you repent."
Has your love grown cold for the God you once loved first in your life? Perhaps He has never had first place in your life. Make a conscious decision to make Jesus your first love beginning today. It is an action you will never regret. It is a decision of eternal value and will qualify rewards you cannot begin to comprehend. Why do we allow the mundane, temporal things of life to rob us of what is heavenly? We were created to reflect His light. As the moon cannot reflect light of it’s own, neither can we. We must be aligned with the Son to bring His light to the darkness. May I encourage you to enter into a time of repentance for all that stands between you and the Light. Get your heart in alignment with God’s Word, and experience the heavenly while still living on this earth. Know you are preparing for the eternal.
