Christmas Message from
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifest through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
If there is ever a time for us to fulfill this scripture it is Christmas! Thanks be to God who continues to lead us in triumph in Christ if we are willing to allow Him to lead in our daily lives. If so, He is able to manifest through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place.
O that we may love our friends and family enough during Christmas season to give a gift that is priceless and endures forever: the sweet aroma of Christ. May we purpose in our hearts to give back to the Father, as he has given us His Son, receiving the glory and honor He is fully worthy of. Let us stop the madness of holiday shopping to remember what the true meaning of Christmas really is.
A reminder of the true meaning of Christmas is a gift everyone needs, it fits all sizes, it is a sweetness that has no calories, the batteries never expire, and it last throughout eternity! Yet, we allow the truth of Christmas to quietly disappear in all the temporal chaos in our homes and even in our churches. When I was growing up the nativity scene was the prominent decoration outside of homes, and all church floats in Christmas parades paraded the birth of Christ, our Savior. What have we allowed to take the place in our own homes and churches being more concerned about being politically correct than being Biblically correct?
What if we could honestly say, “All I want for Christmas is to have the sweet aroma of Christ manifested through me in every place I go?” Imagine how we could take back the true meaning of Christmas, and discard the counterfeits we’ve allowed to consume our lives. Would you join me in making this the cry of your heart this Christmas?
Wishing Everyone a Blessed Christmas and Prosperous New Year from Masterpiece Fitness!
While biking in Old Salem this week in Winston Salem, NC I passed this beautiful Moravian Christmas Tree proclaiming the true meaning of Christmas. I was truly blessed and trust you will be also.
