Psalm 37:39-40
“The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him.”

My spirit thirst for these words of living water this morning. There is no lasting comfort and peace for me apart from the promises of God, because I know they are true.

Jesus answered the all important question man seeks the answer to:
“What is truth?”

He answered, “Thy Word is truth.” (John 17:17)

It is absolute truth. His Word will endure forever.

My salvation comes from Him; it is not of myself. My strength in time of trouble comes from Him. I cry out to Him for help and deliverance knowing He will hear me, because I take refuge in Him.

Where are you seeking help from this morning? Who are you crying out to? For Him to be your strength and salvation you must seek refuge in Him alone. His name is faithful and true! (Revelation 19:11)
In His love.

“For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5)

These are comforting words as I look upon each precious life God has placed in my family. I was overwhelmed by His goodness, lovingkindness, and faithfulness as we spent a glorious day all together on New River canoeing and kayaking very much in His Presence.
