“But have walked after the imagination of their own heart…”

Jeremiah 9:13-14
And the Lord saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; but have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Ba’alm, which their fathers taught them.

How easy it is to be deceived, and walk after the imagination of your own heart, rather than the heart of God. Choosing to be a bondservant of Christ means we must walk according to the Word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. We must desire truth more than justification when we have chosen our own way over His. God is holy, and His ways are perfect. God, enable us to desire your truth more than our own desires.
