The celebration of Christmas has now come and gone. Often folks feel a real let down after the holidays. It seems to inflict real times of loneliness. May I remind you of the truth about Christmas? Jesus and His Word does not come and go. In Matthew 24:35 we read:

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away."

As you are entering into the new year be comforted with this truth. God’s Word will not change. It remains true, unchanging, and will be so throughout eternity.

As we are packing decorations away in our attics, such as my manger and cross, I am so thankful to know God’s Presence and love isn’t being stowed away. His message remains the same to those who do not reject Him:

"Do not fear for I Am with you, do not look anxiously about you, for I Am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

May I leave you with the Words of Jesus in John 8:31-32:

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,

"If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine, and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free."

This is a power packed message that I plan to ponder and apply to my life this upcoming year. We all have people and things we have become enslaved to. I want to know the truth of God’s Word to become totally free as the Son of God intended for all mankind, which He paid the price for. Join me this year in continuing to unwrap the eternal gifts of God that are unending.
In His love.

Children and grandchildren are eternal gifts we can take with us! I was so thankful to have all mine home to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
