“Cleanse your conscience from dead works…”

Hebrews 9:14
‘How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The Spirit is what gives us life; the flesh profits nothing. (John 6:63) The eternal Spirit living inside of us is to lead us in all we say and do. We are no longer to act out of our flesh with self righteous, dead works. May we truly have our conscience cleansed from dead works to serve our living God.
