Mark 4:19
"But the worries of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desire for other things enter in and choke out the Word, and it becomes unfruitful."

This is a power packed verse of choices and consequences. If we choose to succumb to worry and fretting rather than meditating on the truth of God’s Word our lives become unfruitful. If we become caught up in selfish ambition and trust in riches we lose our way, and divert off the straight and narrow way, we produce little if any fruit for the kingdom. When we lose our first love and our heart wanders away from Him, and we begin to embrace the lies of the world rather than the truth of God’s Word, we have no fruit of eternal value. Let us prayerfully evaluate our hearts today, and put Jesus, our Savior, and His Words on the throne of our hearts that our lives may produce eternal fruit for His name’s sake.
In His love.
