“…for power is perfected in weaknesses.”

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

How unnatural it is to confess our weaknesses, let alone to boast of them. We like to boast of what we believe will impress others and give us more value in their eyes.
God’s ways are so different from ours being much higher and perfected. God’s power is perfected in our weaknesses. If we want the power of Christ in our lives we too must boast in our many weaknesses allowing others to see how God’s power has been perfected resulting in weaknesses becoming our greatest strengths. I have seen Him turn my weaknesses into strength coming totally through the power of the Holy Spirit. What an encouragement to my wretched soul apart from Christ. All of my many weaknesses surrendered to Him shall be transformed into the power of Christ living inside me. Isn’t that the best news we could possibly hear today? Cling to the promises of His Words. It is all that is trustworthy and enduring.
