Hebrews 10:35-38
Therefore, do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He Who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.

Hold onto your confidence in God, and know we are all approaching our finish line. We all have need of endurance to continue the will of God, knowing there will be an award’s ceremony. I want to place my trophy at the pierced feet of my Savior!
Anytime you run an endurance race, the hardest part is just before the finish. Many do shrink back. At this point you are weary and tired. You have been pushing for many miles, but you lose all your time if you don’t keep the pace consistent. Endure the hardships of nearing the finish. Keep your focus on Christ. He will be there at your finish and we want to bring Him pleasure.. May we all finish strong as we run to where our award ceremony will be waiting. What you do in the final moments of the race determines how you place. The start of an endurance run isn’t as important as the finish. Keep your confidence in His faithfulness, and endure the last miles with determination and focus. It defines your eternity.
In His love.

I always ask God for a strong finish as I am always mindful of finishing “the race,” and I run with my all to bring Him pleasure. It is a form of worship for me. Even though I may have slowed down from exhaustion and usual aches and pains He is faithful to continuously give me strong finishes as He did with this race, The Pinehurst Half Marathon.
