Ecclesiastes 3:11"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
Knowing God has made everything beautiful in its time is never more apparent to me than springtime. He has set eternity in the hearts of men. We have a longing for Him that shouts from His creation to meet the deep longing in our souls.
"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–His eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)
When I engaged in a personal relationship with the Creator, He truly opened the eyes of my heart to see His love through creation for mankind. I know there are many who worship nature, or creation itself, and never know the Creator, Himself. This breaks my heart for my Heavenly Father as people want the gifts but not the Giver. The gifts are nothing in comparison to an intimate relationship with Who they come from.
He shows no partiality; He loves us all the same. You decide how much of His love you receive as you must decide what you want most in life on this earth. Those choices determine your eternity.
May the eyes of your heart be opened to see His love through all the beauty that surrounds you today in a very personal way coming from His heart. Truly we cannot begin to fathom all He has done for us from beginning to end!
