“He is able to humble those who walk in pride…”

Daniel 4:37
"Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways are just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride."

Pride is the result of feeling self importance. Pride causes us to think only of ourselves. God hates pride. It destroys relationships, and is so opposite of the character of Christ. God, in His mercy, humbled Nebuchadnezzar and brought him to repentance. It was a painful process. May we repent of our pride, and come to the same resolutions as Nebuchadnezzar before God has to humble us.
