Matthew 14:23
"After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain to pray; and when it was evening He was there alone."
You find Jesus pursuing solitude often in the scriptures. I know why. He longed for intimacy with His Father. We too must learn to send way the crowds and get alone with His Presence If we are to gain intimacy with our Father.

I love the "High Places" and beautiful coastlines for places of seclusion, but more often it is sanctuaries I create in day to day living. Create your place of intimacy , and be with the God Who is Love today. It will be worth the effort!
