Proverbs 1:33
"But he who listens to Me shall live securely, and will be at ease from the dread of evil."
We all battle evil on a daily basis, whether it be evil thoughts that pop in our minds or people who bring evil in our lives unsolicited. The television brings a great deal of evil in our lives through movies, the news, programming, and even commercials.
This simple verse has the answer to counter all the evil. Simply listen to God more than any other source.. Let your meditation be on His Word, and listen to the Holy Spirit as you meditate to bring you clear revelation of the meaning and how it applies to your life. We counter evil with good. Good does not come from looking within ourselves, but from looking up to a Holy God who is love. His love overcomes all evil. Turn your eyes to His Word today. and open your heart to receive His love. You will live securely, and be free from the dread of evil. Then go and impart what you have received iin someone else’s life today.

I ran a slow, relaxed, run yesterday morning enjoying the warm weather and the sound of the water flowing from the creek and streams I run along. After the rain they were slightly muddy, but they sang louder…life’s simple pleasures.
