Lamentations 3:21-23
"This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope. The Lord’s lovingkindness indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Great is Thy faithfulness! After three days of painting my entire downstairs from morning till night I had to rely on the faithfuness of God to renew my strength every morning to continue. It wasn’t so much the actual painting; it is what goes with it. Moving three bedrooms of furniture, emptying closets of clothes, a large den, and removing all wall hangings and fixtures. Then there is cleaning and polishing as you put the rooms back together. It is quite an undertaking.
The Lord dropped this verse in my spirit to assure me of His faithfulness as I cried out to Him. His lovingkindness will never cease. He doesn’t wear out as I do. His compassions never fail as mine can from exhaustion. As we start our new day, let us be comforted in knowing His mercies are new every morning. He has no limitations as I so often forget I do. What do you have need of this morning? Allow Him to meet your needs and reveal His lovingkindness today.
