“How blessed are all those who long for Him…”

Isaiah 30:18
"Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him."

We can all be recipients of our Lord’s justice, grace, and compassion. He longs to be gracious and compassionate and waits on high to be able to do so. Our only requirement is to long for Him.
What do you find yourself longing for in this busy season? Allow your heart to long for the only One worthy of your deepest longings. Know that God, the Father is longing for you.

Last night my mother and I had our ears delighted by the New River Bell Ensemble Holiday Concert soaking in their festive, gentle, delicate, sounds! It was an impressive performance!
