2 Samuel 22:2-4
He said, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my Savior, You save me from violence. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

Nothing is sweeter in life than when God has moved on our behalf in a mighty way! I join David in declaring the goodness of God in my own life. He is constantly saving us from the enemy of our soul. He protects us in ways we can’t imagine. He is our Rock. He is immovable in our lives. His mercy and love is unfailing. May we learn to sing the same songs to Him on the mountaintops of life and in the valleys of decision, because He is good and right in both places. He is God. Sing your own song to Him today. He is worthy to be praised!
In His love.

It was impossible not to sing a song of praise to God as I hiked with great friends, Bonnie and Mike, to Cascade Falls yesterday in Giles County, Va. Oh, the beauty we beheld! How humbling and overwhelming to know I have an intimate relationship with the Creator of it all, and He knows my name. I pray you do too.
