Psalm 2:6
"But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain."

This verse is the antidote the Lord gave me for presidential election years. It is easy to despair as I watch the people who call themselves Christians vote for ungodly leaders over the godly. This year for the first time I had a man to vote for whose life and few words spoke loudly, but the masses of so called evangelicals chose a Saul over a David. We never learn from our history. What a sad day when the people of God go their own way and lean to their own understanding.
I run to the consolation of Psalm 2. This is the Psalm God gave me as I despaired on the morning after the last election. When I heard the results I was in shock and total disbelief! God led me to Psalm 2 to put things in perspective–His perspective!
Perhaps you need Him to do the same for you today. Go to His Words! "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words shall NOT pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
In His love.

I spent this past Saturday at the Asheboro Zoo in Asheboro, NC with the most incredible four year old little man, Levi, my grandson. He definitely was installed king of my heart for the day! 🙂
