Psalm 119:147-148
"I rise before dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words.
My eyes anticipate the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word."

On the journey of life, over a period of time we develop patterns in our lives. In these two verses I find a pattern I want developed in my own life. David awoke seeking God for help and waited in His presence till God answered his cry. We then see he anticipated night when all is quiet, so he could meditate on His words he had received, and fall asleep in sweet peace and communion with his God.
What patterns have you developed in your life when you need help? What sources have you allowed to take the place of God and His Word? There is only one God who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is calling you this morning to help you through your day. Develop the pattern that can change your journey of life.
In His love.

Often times I feel I am the little orphan in the arms of my Father sleeping in sweet peace and communion as I experienced in Guatemala on a mission trip with this precious little child.
