John 14:16-18
And I will pray to the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but all of you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Jesus left us in the care of the Holy Spirit. Not only is He with us; He dwells inside us! He brings us constant comfort by revealing to us truth, the truth of who God is, His love, and understanding of His Words. The Spirit of Truth brings us comfort with truth to counter the lies and accusations of our enemies. No, He did not leave us comfortless. Seek His comfort today.
