"In God we have boasted all day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever."
I must boast all day long, and give thanks to the God who rescues me in whatever circumstance I find myself. Four weeks ago I found myself with a broken tibia and considerable damage to most of the anatomy of my left knee, not diagnosed yet due to waiting for the fracture to heal. In four weeks time I have gone from significant pain, crutches, and a wheelchair to limited walking with minimal pain!
I attribute all my success to obeying the familiar scriptures God spoke to me when it happened:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones."
These verses define my life moment by moment the last four weeks. I determined in my heart to obey each instruction. I put my trust in my God with all my heart for guidance in what to do or not do. I acknowledged Him in all my ways in order not to lean to my own understanding, or be wise in my own eyes. As He promised it has been healing to my body and refreshment to my bones.
Join me this morning in boasting and giving thanks, and glory to our almighty God who is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise forever!
In His love.
First photo was taken picking up race packets at the start of the Marine Corp Mud Run in Pinnacle NC. Second photo was probably taken less than 20 minutes after the start. How quickly life can change! However my clients, Paula Doughtie and Trudi Jackson, completed their first mud run with great joy and success!
