Phillipians 2:3-4
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
As we read this verse we all know this is not our nature. May we rely on God’s Word and His Spirit to transform us into the likeness of Christ. It is our only hope. We all, when left to our own devices, have experienced selfish ambition and empty conceit. In the end, we find ourselves empty with broken relationships. Allow God’s Word to redefine success for you, and follow Him. His ways are so much higher and will lead to true peace and contentment.
