Psalm 5:3

“In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation.”

I dare not start my day without laying my request before a faithful Heavenly Father. I not only give my cares to the One who can help me, but I love Him. Therefore, I long for His Presence.
Rest assured He hears you when you speak to Him. He not only hears you, but more importantly He listens. We may have desperate needs, but we need not be desperate children. Let us not be demanding in our request, but humbly rely on the wisdom of God with the outcome of our circumstances. We must trust in His character knowing, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)
Wait expectantly to see the faithfulness of God to His promises.
In His love.

This photo was taken of a lovely painting displayed at the Pinehurst Hotel in Pinehurst, NC. I thought the artist did an amazing job reflecting the beauty during this time of year. It reflects a peace we receive when we take our eyes off the hustle and bustle, and focus on His gifts He has given us throughout creation. Pursue the stillness to acquire the “finer things of life”…especially during the Christmas season.
