"That our heart might be encouraged having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is Christ Himself, in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
Colossians 2:2-3

My prayer this morning for all is that our hearts may be encouraged through the revelation of who Christ is by Paul’s inspired writings from the Holy Spirit. This will result in our hearts being knit together in love. What a glorious vision of how we as followers of Christ should be as His body. May we truly aspire to all the wealth that comes from full assurance of understanding, that we are promised will result in a true knowledge of God’s mystery. What is the great mystery of God? It is Christ Himself. He goes on to reveal in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

What a profound proclamation! If you believe the Word of God, all of it, and I do, we have all we need, and we have been made complete in Christ.

"And in Him you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over all rule and authority." Colossians 2:10

All that is required of all is to believe.

Again, as I say so often, you do not gain insight or understanding apart from the Holy Spirit. He is to be our teacher and He leads us into all truth. Paul exclaims he did not receive his revelation from man but from God, and we should follow his example. (Galatians 2:11-12)

What else in this life promises all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge? We have the promise we have been made complete in Christ. Find out what this means. All is freely available to all mankind. It is not His will that any should perish. (1 Peter 3:9) Each man must make this journey one on one before His Maker. May I encourage you to begin your journey today ending in an eternal home of perfect love. Isn’t that the deep desire of all our hearts? It has already been provided through Jesus Christ Himself. Partake!
In His love.

I began a journey of a 20K (13.1 mi) trail run up Pilot Mountain in Pinnacle, NC yesterday morning. This young man and I shared scaling up the two pinnacles we encountered, and one heck of a decline afterwards. I prayed yesterday morning that the Lord would send someone at places I could miss a turn. Mark was the answer to that prayer as I ran by the small passage to the right to go around the pinnacle. We all ran through rain and sloshed through mud and I must say I loved every minute!
