"Keep me as the apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings."
David is asking God to keep him as that such is dearest and tenderest. That is how God loves us. We have the incredible privilege to live under His protective wings as a baby chick. He desires us to live next to Him! Christ enabled this to be our lot. No longer is there a priest between us and God Himself. We now call Him Father, knowing we are truly His children. It is only comprehensible through the Holy Spirit. Bask in the love of God today knowing you are the apple of His eye.
