Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus says the Lord, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boast, boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things," declares the Lord.
Having already lived much of my life on this earth, one thing has not changed throughout. My greatest accomplishment has been coming to know my God and understand His description of Himself is all true. It is my greatest gain, and I have nothing to boast of other than the amazing God Who exercises lovingkindness toward me moment by moment. I will never lose what I have gained, and no one can take it from me. This is my boast. I pray it is, or shall become yours also, and may we be His delight!
